Ok, this is what I have to say. I am very pleasantly surprised to say that it arrived on time and in good condition. There were a few modifications made without my authorization but in balancing out what I got as opposed to what I did not get I am happy. As I said it arrived and right off of opening the box I knew something was off. It came with a 1.35 HP motor when advertised as a 1 1/2 HP motor. To my surprise it came with 2 2” adapter which was great except my existing setup was for 1 1/2” fittings. It also came wired with a 6’ cord set up for 220. This was great because the existing cord needed replacement and this worked perfect. I have mine GFIC wired into the breaker in the main circuit breaker panel. It was supposed to be 1 speed and it came with with a 2 speed on/off switch. I guess in Florida and California you need to have a 2 speed motor or variable speed. This was never mentioned in the original add or the one on their web site for this setup. I must say that it was pretty much exactly what I wanted. I will probably almost never use the 2 speed function but nice to have. It has a lot of suction and pressure on the return end. All said I am very happy with my purchase. It started right up after filling the pump filter basket with water before starting. I used aquarium sealant on suction and discharge fittings after about 10 windings of good grade teflon tape, and this assures me that there will be NO AIR LEAKS which I had on my old pump until I figured out where it was coming from which was around were the fitting went into the pump.
