Great pool pump

I bought this pump to replace an old 1 hp pump that was so loud it could wake the dead. This pump was easy to install and took about 20 minutes. It is so quiet that I have to put my hand on the pump to feel if it is running. I am so glad we bought this pump!

This pump offers decent value for the money. The same pump is available from other sources with different name stickers and prices. The last pump, identical to this one but under a different name, only lasted slightly over one year due to a failed start capacitor. Hopefully, this one lasts longer. In summary, it's a reasonable deal. Revised Review: The low price reflects the quality‚Äö√Ñ√Æa cheap pump. The motor capacitor failed after less than 100 starts. Now the pump hums and won't run, with the motor getting hot. It might be worth considering paying more for a pump that will last.
