Use plenty of TEFLON Tape as recommended in the instructions!

I must say, I am pleasantly surprised that it arrived on time and in good condition. While there were a few modifications made without my authorization, considering what I received versus what I did not get, I am satisfied. Upon opening the box, I noticed something was off. It came with a 1.35 HP motor instead of the advertised 1 1/2 HP motor. However, it included 2 2" adapters, which worked well even though my existing setup was for 1 1/2" fittings. The pump also came wired with a 6-foot cord set up for 220, which was convenient for me as the existing cord needed replacement. Although it was supposed to be a single-speed pump, it came with a 2-speed on/off switch, which I may not use frequently but is a nice addition. The suction and pressure on the return end are impressive. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. The pump started right up after filling the pump filter basket with water before starting, and I used aquarium sealant on suction and discharge fittings to ensure no air leaks.
