I bought this tool last week for my new house with a backyard featuring hard and solid soil with stones. Usually, planting a small tree involves a lot of effort due to the tough soil, but this tool has made the task much easier and faster. It has been working perfectly for my needs so far. Although it is quite heavy and requires careful handling, especially with two people, a single person can manage the job by holding it tightly and pushing it straight down (the weight of the product itself helps in digging into the ground easily). Despite the weak packaging box (which could be improved), the inside foam got damaged during delivery by Ihubdeal, but the product itself had no issues. Keep in mind that you'll need an extension cord, as it only comes with a short 6-foot one. Considering the price, I have no complaints, and it has been working well for me thus far.

It functions well; having a reverse feature would be a nice addition.

Lightweight and suitable for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke post hole diggers. Easy to use, especially in my work at a wholesale fence supply store. It offers good control and doesn't jump around as much as a 2-stroke digger. While it spins faster than a 4-stroke, I believe it's perfect for around-the-house or very light commercial use. I haven't tried a 6" auger yet, but it performs well with the 4" one. I use it for installing fences on my farm and around trees.

I had reservations about the power of an electric unit, but this digger performs admirably when digging post holes using the provided 4-inch auger bit in partially clay soil with minimal roots. However, it faces challenges with large roots and rocks. Considering the price, I am content with the product. It arrived in good condition and was well-packaged.

Employed this tool to dig holes for planting 1700 flower bulbs, and it was a lifesaver! It worked exceptionally well, even navigating through the ground with some small tree roots. Just remember to proceed slowly and take your time. If it gets stuck in the dirt, which can happen occasionally, be prepared to release it quickly as the top may whip around.
