It looks great especially for the price point. The assembly can be done alone with some patience (two of my pieces were mislabelled/flip-flopped but I sorted it) and there are some gaps/misaligns that prevented the top from sitting flush for me but I've hidden it with some well placed decoration. The inside of the mantel where the firebox sits is not painted so if you do not plan to fill it with an electrical firebox know you will see some unfinished wood and brackets. I put candles in mine and from most angles don't notice it. The overall effect is lovely.

Purchased this for my boss to install a gas fireplace in.The mantel feels sturdy and reasonably well made. Assembly was fairly straight forward and it is a decent size.The gaps where the pieces assemble are a bit wide and noticeable. Also, it's not actually white but rather, cream.
