The saw effortlessly sliced through 4 inches of 5000 psi concrete, almost as if it were whipped cream. The dust control was exceptional, making it suitable for use in an enclosed basement without any issues. However, changing the saw blade is a bit more challenging than anticipated. Nevertheless, considering the saw's price, it's a manageable aspect.

The 16-inch saw will bring you satisfaction, and it operates just under 20 AMPs if you refrain from sitting on it. It provides smooth cutting for about 10 feet, after which you should slow down, rocking it back and forth more. Adding water through a low-rate water feed eliminates dust, keeping the floor dry. It's currently mid-January, and I'm approximately halfway through my job, and I'm pleased with the results.

Regarding the 30 amp breaker issue, it might be due to a defect or an excessively long extension cord, or perhaps someone placed weight on it. I personally ran it directly off a 20 AMP SQ D QO series breaker and then connected it to a 25-foot 10 AWG extension cord, and it worked perfectly. However, a 15 AMP breaker will trip at about 5 minutes of usage.

In summary, I recommend buying it. It's a pro-consumer grade tool that works exceptionally well. It effortlessly cuts through 50-year-old 5-inch basement concrete like butter. Consider getting an additional blade for extended use.

I suggest investing in a higher-quality blade than the one included.

Initially, this saw had an issue where it would stop working after a minute of cutting. To address this, I removed the online safety breaker and replaced it with a 30A 120V plug, connecting it to a temporary 30A breaker with a receptacle. Since making this modification, the saw has operated without any problems. The blade durability has proven impressive, as I've successfully cut approximately 400 feet of 5" thick concrete. The motor's strength is commendable, and I believe it will have a long lifespan. Additionally, the ready-to-use water hookup is a convenient feature. I am satisfied with this purchase.
