Great filter assembly!

I bought this to replace my older Pentair 100 sq ft filter. As evident in the photos, I had to make some minor modifications to my current pump unit to mount the filter, as the dimensions were slightly different (as they often are). I used four heavy-gauge vinyl angles to securely attach the filter to the pump base. The highlight of the job is the filter's performance. The flow rate is significantly higher than with the old unit, reducing back pressure on the pump and improving cleaning and water circulation in the pool. This season, we faced some water issues, and this filter effectively resolved them. When I cleaned the cartridge, I was impressed by the amount and fineness of the contaminants it captured while still maintaining good flow. Disassembling the housing for cleaning was remarkably easy compared to my old Pentair. It's a fantastic device at a great price!

Cartridge pool filters are the way to go.

I'm relieved I parted ways with my DE; what a hassle it was.
