Had to replace a sad filter, so they suggested this! WOW!! Amazing how quick it handled things. Still to early for cost of replacement of internal filter will be or how often, but such a difference.

So we decided to replace the pool pump, filter and add a heater for our pool. Our DE filter was original to the installation of the pool… 25 years ago! We have replaced the grids a couple of times (tears in the mesh) but we decided enough was enough. We chose to get away from DE and go with a cartridge filter. After a lot of research, we decided this was the perfect size for our pool and the price point was great, especially because we were spending big money for a heat pump. I am so glad we chose this one in particular. It took some engineering to plumb since the inlet and outlet are so low on the filter and on opposite sides. Our previous filter ports were much higher on the filter and on the same side. But we did it! I’m sure that’s a common occurrence switching filters, not to mention changing types of filters. But I really love how easy it is to remove the housing of this filter to get to the cartridge and super simple to clean the cartridge itself. I am pleasantly surprised! Our water quality has even improved with this new addition. Bravo!

We bought an above ground pool at Costco which came with a sand filter. We have lots of oak trees so the sand filter couldn’t even come close to keeping up with the pollen alone. I installed this filter with some little effort on the hoses. Within a single night the pool cleared to gin clear! I should have started with this filter. Great product, appears well built and wasn’t that expensive compared to others.
