I had to re-weld the base and jib since it seemed like a factory reject that was sold instead of being discarded. The lock pins proved to be of poor quality, but I easily addressed this by replacing them with bolts. The installation on the truck was straightforward. It functions as described, although it's not tall enough to swing over the bed; I resolved this by adding a piece of pipe to extend the height. Considering the cost, it's a decent project to complete. It lifts as stated, and the shipping was fast. If you're handy and have a welder, it's a great deal.

I've owned this product previously. If you find yourself in need of instructions for a hand crane, it might be best to stay at your desk and away from cranes. This device is perfect for its intended purpose.
