Exactly as advertised!

The only thing I didn't like was that the inlet is in a different spot than my old one, making it more challenging to hook up. My old one had a side inlet and a back discharge, while this one has a front and back configuration.

In comparison to my smaller and significantly older canister, this one performs noticeably better. My water is genuinely clear for the first time in years.

Fantastic price, performs exceptionally well. I've only had it for a month, so time will tell. Much better than the sand filter we replaced.

I would have given it a 5-star rating if the manufacturer included the 2-inch fittings and a rubber gasket replacement for the air release, costing just a cent. It's important to use cement glue for the fittings, despite the instructions mentioning tape or glue. I had to install it twice - with tape, there was a leak, but with glue, it worked fine after allowing a day to dry. The pressure gauge required 7 loops to create a proper seal; otherwise, it was leaking. The filter performance is good, and it's easy to clean quickly. The only downside is the challenge of finding a replacement filter.
