Great Hoist, Bad Packaging. Worth the Money Though!

An excellent hoist considering the cost. However, the assembly instructions are challenging to read without a magnifying glass. I rate it 3 stars due to the severely torn packaging; parts were scattered on top of the box upon delivery. While not the fault of the delivery service, a heavy item like this should be shipped in a reinforced container or secured to a wooden pallet. Thankfully, no parts were missing, but the assembly manual, depicted as an exploded view on a small piece of paper, was difficult to decipher. Would I recommend purchasing it? Probably, but be aware that the packaging is below standard, and you might need assistance reading the assembly instructions. Despite these challenges, it genuinely offers good value for the money.

Adore this engine hoist! In our metal fabrication shop, consisting of one man and two women, we secured a contract to construct trusses for pole barns. While handling the 24-footers with two of us is manageable, the challenge arises with the 40-footers featuring 3/16 angle. Now, thanks to this hoist, a single person can effortlessly transfer the hefty trusses from the jigs to the stack. It proves to be a fantastic and cost-effective solution for our growing workshop!
