Put enough Teflon on fittings

It's a powerful pump, and I would rate it 5 stars if the manufacturer included better-fitting, larger hoses, and more reliable hose clamps. Ensure you apply sufficient Teflon on the threads and connectors to prevent leaks. Following this advice should help you avoid the issues I encountered initially.

Initially, I hooked it up wrong due to unclear instructions, but this pump is amazing! Although it didn’t come with hoses, I was able to make it work.
