Slab breaker

I thought I had purchased a compact hammer. The hammer that arrived was bigger than expected and heavier but when I started on the slab it was exactly what was needed. Very satisfied with the hammer and price

It works sufficiently. It's cheaper than renting one a few times.

Per other reviews, the on/off switch is poorly located and is easily tripped while in use. Don't let it turn you away. This is a heavy tool and you need to take breaks with it anyways. The construction of this machine is solid. The biggest challenge with this machine is getting it to hammer consistently. The top tier Makita and Hilti hammers fire nonstop until it's turned off or broken. This guy is a little finicky, where it turns on and runs but doesn't hammer consistently. I am not sure if, I got a lemon or not. I am guessing I got what I paid for. To engage the hammering the machine needs to be lifted and repositioned at times or the bit needs to be free from the weight of the machine. As this is a 65lb machine it's hard work to lift it and reposition it, especially when Your arms are sore. The instruction manual says to turn the machine on and let it run for 3 minutes before use, change the oil every 60 hours, and to change the "brushes" between uses. The machine comes with tools, bits, oil, and gloves. The goggles and dust mask are crap. But if you are buying this you probably already have both"I have no idea what brushes are supposed to get changed or how to get them"Anyways you will get what you paid for and it will get the job done.I took out a reinforced pony walls and floor with this guy and it saved me money over renting a more quality model. If I was going to do concrete demo work regularly, I would spend the $$$$ for it.
