The setup is quite straightforward and easy. The plastic window pieces are easily cut with a table saw. The operating sound, to me, is not bothersome—it's similar to being around a small industrial fan. Within 10 minutes, the temperature went from 84 to 78 degrees in a room size of about 250 sq ft. Overall, the product is well worth it!
