We employed this set to insert pipe shrouds (casings) into the ground for the purpose of stabilizing larger poles that can be conveniently taken out or replaced. Once this 20 lb pad begins tamping, it swiftly drives anything beneath it into the ground. Additionally, it proves valuable for compacting soil or rocks in confined spaces.
