Sturdy, Easy To Assemble Raised Bed For Small Garden

Impressive! This raised garden bed is sturdy, attractive, and easy to assemble, with an open bottom. It proved perfect for cultivating herbs and peppers. Despite initial concerns about the depth of 13 inches for Zone 10 plants, I used drip irrigation connected to a nearby sprinkler and added mulch. The open bottom seemed beneficial too. The results were fantastic, with everything growing nicely! Next year, I plan to experiment with growing Asian vegetable morning glory, which requires ample moisture. I believe I can maintain the needed moisture in this compact bed. Given its contained walls, I'm optimistic that it will keep the morning glory from spreading too quickly.

Among these types of garden beds, this one is undoubtedly my favorite. The style and design are incredibly appealing. It remained sturdy while being filled, and everything grows successfully in it. Its aesthetic is so pleasing that you won't feel like going back to the metal-style beds after experiencing this one.
