Before shipment, you may notice a pre-authorization hold or pending charge for the total order amount on your account. This pre-authorization validates the card number, status, funds, and billing information to ensure they match what the bank has on file. The initial authorization will expire after a period of time and no longer appear on your account. Your card will not be charged until your item ships.
Once an authorization is received, there may be a decrease in your available balance. Your bank may place a hold on this amount for a period of time. Each financial institution has a different policy on authorization holds, and your bank may also contact you for additional information. Please contact your bank to learn about their specific authorization and charge policies.
Your card will only be charged after your item ships. If there is a delay between order placement and shipment, we may request another authorization from your bank to verify that funds are still available. If your order contains more than one item, we may authorize and charge for each item individually if they are shipping from different fulfillment locations. Your statement may reflect individual charges for each item as it is shipped.
